Try out this home made jalebi
2 cup maida ( all purpose flour)
1 cup yogurt
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp baking powder
Yellow food color 1/2 tsp
Oil or ghee for frying 500ml
Sugar 1 1/2 cup sugar
Water 1 cup
Lemon juice 1 tsp
- Preparation for batter
- Mix maida, yogurt, water, food color, baking powder. Mix it well till the batter is flowing consistency.
- Take one plastic bag pour batter in the bag and close it and cut one small point for pouring into Ghee or Oil.
- For sugar syrup
- Add sugar, water, and saffron in pan heat till sugar melts and stir well.
- Jalebi making
- With the help of plastic bag pour in hot Ghee or Oil in medium flame till it becomes crispy
- After frying the Jalebi keep it in sugar syrup for few seconds and serve hot.
